Schools musicals

2022/present

School musicals can be a gentle and enjoyable way for children to grow socially, musically, and physically. Working together on a shared performance, students begin to build teamwork, communication, and a sense of responsibility. Singing and acting help them explore rhythm, pitch, and storytelling, while dance supports coordination, balance body awareness and buids positive body image. Learning simple choreography can also deepen their connection to music in a natural, playful way.

Rehearsals encourage focus and patience, with progress happening little by little over time. Children learn to listen to one another, move together, and offer support to their peers. Performing in front of an audience can quietly build confidence. Perhaps most importantly, school musicals create a warm sense of belonging, where each child can take part and feel valued within the group.

Together with dr. Frye and Mrs Balles-Hall we have been staging musicals in Childs Elementary School since 2022. We are currently at our 4th production.
