Throughout my life, I have explored different schools of yoga — including Iyengar, Hatha, Bikram, and Yin — learning from many inspiring teachers along the way. The teachings that remain closest to my heart come from the lineage of B.K.S. Iyengar.
After moving to Bloomington and meeting Matece Skow at Nourishing Heart Yoga, my practice shifted from a deeply personal path of self-development to one rooted in sharing, teaching, and community. Immersing myself in the Krishnamacharya lineage, and continuing to study yoga philosophy and Sanskrit, I remain a committed and curious student of yoga.
Today, my teaching is guided by the eight limbs of yoga. In my classes, I strive to honor each student’s individual needs and intentions while offering a strong, thoughtful physical practice that supports deeper connection to the body and a clearer understanding of how it works.
I am grateful to teach regular classes at Nourishing Heart Yoga, as well as at Child’s Elementary School, and to offer private sessions.

Since 2025, I have been teaching Yoga for Self-Regulation to children at Child’s Elementary School in Bloomington, Indiana.
Designed for 2nd through 4th graders, the class helps children connect with their bodies and connect the bodies with their minds, through gentle movement, playful exercise, simple breath work, and an introduction to the foundations of yoga philosophy.
By working with emotions that can sometimes feel overwhelming, practicing asanas, and learning through play, movement, and curiosity, the class creates a joyful and supportive space where young yogis can safely begin their journey on the path of yoga.
Private yoga classes give you a practice that’s truly about you.
I can meet you exactly where you are — your body, your mind, your goals — and shape each session to what you need.
Beyond working on the physical aspect of yoga asanas and pranayama, private sessions create space to explore the philosophy and spirituality of yoga in a way that feels personal and relevant, helping you to connect the practice to your everyday life.
With individual attention, room for questions, space for somatic practices and no pressure to keep up with a group, a private session can be freeing and opening to a whole new world of yoga.

Part of my 300h YTT is SEVA — selfless service or yoga in action — giving without expectation, serving with love, and creating positive change within the community.
This program, under the guidance of Matece Skow begins in January 2026 runs throughout the year.
I will select and define the population, condition, or person I wish to work with and the setting for the project.
I will review relevant research literature about the population, setting and/or target outcome in which I’m interested.
I will collect data and design a yoga curriculum.
I will implement the program with my chosen group or person and evaluate the effectiveness of it.
Eventually I will share my findings in a presentation.
